Blue Cypress (Callitris intratropica) provides grounding, anti-inflammatory, calming benefits for skin. Callitris intratropica has been used in traditional smoking ceremonies by Indigenous communities of northern Australia for thousands of years. The guaiazulene content — which also gives German Chamomile and Yarrow their blue colour — is a potent natural anti-inflammatory that significantly reduces inflammatory skin responses. The resulting oil has a distinctive deep indigo-blue tint, visible even in the diluted form used in our formulas.
