Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bush & Salt website at bushandsalt.com.au and your purchase of Bush & Salt products. By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Bush & Salt Pty Ltd (ABN: 32 692 105 678), a company registered in Australia ("Bush & Salt", "we", "us", "our"). Our registered business address is M Centre, 11 Palmerston Lane Suite #1029, Manuka ACT 2603, Australia.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use our website, create an account, or place an order. By using our website, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 16, you may only use our website with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You must also be purchasing for personal or gifting purposes only. Resale of Bush & Salt products without our written authorisation is prohibited.

Products & Pricing

All product descriptions, ingredients lists, and images on our website are provided in good faith and are as accurate as reasonably possible. Our products are handcrafted using natural Australian botanicals, and minor batch-to-batch variations in colour, texture, and scent are inherent to their character — these do not constitute defects.

Pricing

All prices are displayed and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed with an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, and correct pricing errors at any time. If a pricing error is identified after your order has been confirmed, we will contact you before processing the order. You may choose to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.

Out-of-Stock Products

Where a product is displayed as out of stock, you may submit your email address via the Notify Me function to receive a back-in-stock notification. Submitting your email via this function does not constitute an order or reserve stock on your behalf.

Stock & Bag Reservations

Adding a product to your bag does not reserve that item. Products remain available for purchase by other customers until checkout is completed and payment is confirmed.

Orders & Payment

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is not accepted or confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

Once an order is confirmed, it enters fulfilment and may not be cancelled or amended. If you need to make a change immediately after placing an order, please contact us at cs@bushandsalt.com.au as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist before dispatch.

Payment Security

All payment information is processed and stored by our payment processors (Shopify Payments and Stripe). Bush & Salt does not store, access, or retain your card details. All transactions are secured by SSL/TLS encryption.

Currency & GST

All prices on our website are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10%. International customers are not charged GST — prices are adjusted at checkout where applicable based on your shipping destination.

Promotions & Offers

From time to time we offer promotional codes, discounts, bundle deals, or limited-time offers. The following conditions apply to all promotions unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• One promotional code per order. Promotional codes cannot be combined unless the promotion explicitly permits stacking.
• Promotional codes are not transferable and have no cash value.
• Promotions apply to the items described and may exclude sale items, bundles, or gift wrapping unless explicitly stated.
• We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any promotion at any time without notice.
• Promotional pricing does not apply to orders placed before or after the promotion period.

Bundle Discount

Where a bundle discount is applied (3 products or more), the discount is applied at checkout automatically. Bundle discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to previous orders.

Shipping & Delivery

Full details of our shipping rates, dispatch times, and delivery estimates are provided on our Shipping & Returns page. Key terms:

• We dispatch orders Monday to Friday on business days. Orders placed before 1pm AEST on a business day are dispatched the same day.
• Estimated delivery times are provided by our carrier partners and are not guaranteed.
• Once your order is dispatched, title and risk of loss pass to you. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or events outside our control.
• We do not ship to P.O. Boxes for express services. Standard post can be delivered to P.O. Boxes.

Returns & Refunds

We accept returns of unused, unopened products within 30 days of delivery. To initiate a return, please contact us at cs@bushandsalt.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

Conditions for Return

• Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
• For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or used bath, body, or skincare products.
• Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense unless the product is faulty or damaged in transit.
• We recommend using a tracked service for returns. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

Refunds

Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. If a product is defective, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If you believe a product you have purchased does not meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us at cs@bushandsalt.com.au with your order details and a description of the issue.

Product Recommendations

Our product recommendation quiz, ingredient guides, and "best for" designations on product pages are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute professional dermatological, medical, or cosmetic advice.

Our products are formulated for adult use with general skin types. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, allergy, or are pregnant or nursing, please consult a qualified healthcare or dermatology professional before using our products.

We cannot guarantee specific results from using our products. Natural variations in ingredients, individual skin types, and usage practices mean outcomes may differ between customers.

Gift Wrapping

Where gift wrapping is offered, it is provided as an optional add-on service at the price displayed at checkout. Gift wrapping may not be available for all products or order sizes.

The gift message service allows you to include a personal note with your order. By submitting a gift message, you confirm that the content is appropriate and does not contain offensive, defamatory, or unlawful content. We reserve the right to decline to include messages that violate this condition.

Reviews & UGC

By submitting a product review, comment, or other user-generated content (UGC) to our website or social media channels, you grant Bush & Salt a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content for commercial and promotional purposes, including on our website, marketing materials, and social media channels.

You confirm that any content you submit is your original work, does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, and does not contain false or misleading statements about our products.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or in violation of these Terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including but not limited to text, product descriptions, photography, graphics, logos, and brand assets — is the intellectual property of Bush & Salt Pty Ltd or its licensors. All rights are reserved.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our intellectual property without our express written permission, except as permitted by law.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement of those sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any linked third-party website.

Prohibited Use

You must not use our website or services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit viruses or any malicious code.

Liability & Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Bush & Salt's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our website or products is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

We are not liable for: loss of revenue or profit, loss of data, indirect or consequential loss, or any loss that could not reasonably have been anticipated at the time the contract was formed.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bush & Salt and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of our website or products.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, carrier disruptions, supplier failures, or government action.

In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and work to resolve or mitigate the impact on your order.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the ACT for any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our website.

If you are located in a jurisdiction that does not permit certain limitations of liability, the limitations in these Terms will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law of your jurisdiction.

General Provisions

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bush & Salt regarding the subject matter herein.
• If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
• Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
• These Terms are not assignable by you without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
