Grapefruit Essential Oil (Citrus paradisi) provides 100% pure, cold-pressed, energising benefits for skin. Grapefruit oil's limonene content — typically 88–95% — is responsible for its dominant aromatic character and its documented mood-elevating effects. Cold pressing preserves the nootkatone and paradisone compounds that give grapefruit its distinctive bittersweet quality — compounds that distillation would destroy entirely. Note: like all cold-pressed citrus oils, grapefruit can be mildly photosensitising — avoid direct sun exposure after topical application without SPF coverage.
